Two men have been called cowards for stealing a mobile phone from a cerebral palsy sufferer, beating him and recording the vicious attack on the device.
The brutal beating was then shared to the victim’s Facebook page.
Nikey Dashone Walker and Shadeed Dontae Bey were arrested after the cruel attack in a stairwell at the victim’s apartment block in Pontiac.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Department labelled the pair as ‘cowards’ for “preying on those in our community who suffer from disabilitiesâ€.
“To have the audacity to post their actions on the victim's page is beyond belief,†Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a statement.
Police have since released video of the attack.
The attackers can be seen kicking the 23-year-old man in the stomach with their feet.
The victim was then punched and stomped on as he cowered barefoot on the floor, desperate to shield his face and head.
The footage ends with the attackers running down the stairs.
The victim’s limp body can be seen laying on the concrete floor outside his home in the Phoenix Place Apartment block.
Sheriff’s found the man bleeding in the hallway about 8.30am on Sunday, according to The Detroit News.
The victim told law enforcement the attackers forced their way inside his home, stole his phone and beat him unconscious when he tried to get it back.
Sheriff Bouchard praised the work of investigators for bringing 'these two cowards to justice'.
The suspects also posted the beating to their own Facebook pages.
The victim's phone was found at the home of one of the suspects.
The 20-year-old suspects have since been arrested and charged with home invasion, unarmed robbery and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
Both suspects have criminal records. If convicted, Walker and Bey face up to 10 years in prison.

Beating up on the disabled. I was able to guess what they looked like based on the crime. How am I always able to do this?
They should both get the death penalty.......tomorrow! And without a last meal, no last words, nothing...just kill them.

IF these two feral animals have “criminal records”, hopefully for felonies, then they can get a lot more than 10 lousy years.
They can be charged with “attempted murder” during the commission of a felony (if home invasion is classified as a felony, which it should be).
The present charge of “intent to do great bodily harm less than murder” is a very serious charge similar in wording to “aggravated assault with intent to do great bodily harm”, but this was committed during a “home invasion” and robbery.
Hopefully the charges will be upgraded to the highest allowable felony charges and they get full time on every charge.
But then again, this is Michigan so it’s a toss up.
Don't even have to check.
