Ok, but what happens if it’s a brokered convention? I mean, if you win the most delegates, doesn’t that make you the nominee?

Which is why Trump needs to remain in the race, even if Cruz catches him. The two together need to have enough support to prevent a GOPe overthrow. I am pretty comfortable in believing if it comes down to it, these two candidates would support the other at the convention.
Trump will have it wrapped up in March.
If the GOPe bastards try to thrwart the will of the people, there will be a revolt.
How does a brokered convention work? If Cruz wins Iowa and Trump wins all the rest, what are they brokering?

Many of the states are not winner-take-all, so this could go well past March.

Rubio 17%

Really, what can the GOPe do with that? I’m pretty sure the answer is NOTHING. It will be Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump like it or not. Or Cruz and whoever Trump wants for VP or vice versa.
In any case, I fully expect that Trump + Cruz will have more than half the delegates. Maybe way more than half.
Brokered convention? Lol. I smell a Romney campaign! Well, that’s my prediction, if the convention goes that route. A romney campaign, with a Hitlery win!!!! FU GOP!
All Conservatives need to notify the Party leaders INCLUDING YOUR ELECTED Congresscritter that if they do that NO ONE But those that stood with Ted Cruz and the House Conservatives will be supported in the 16 Election.
Tell them to expect to lose both the Senate AND the House. We may not be able to remove Post Turtle McConnell from office but we can Kelly Ayotte and several others that will cost Turtle the Majority.
Same goes for RINO Ryan in the house.

So they are not total wimps and do have the ability to fight after all, at least when their own power is threatened. Hmmm. These people need to be brought down.
