Markey sets some records in that video for smugness. He is not actually lying because he obviously knows nothing himeself.
I watched the Senate hearing in its entirety. Highly entertaining as Steyn refused to let any of the Democratic Senators get by with any of their usual BS and Chairman Cruz basically let Steyn have a free hand. At one point, Professor Curry wanted to say something but one of the Senators said “I didn’t ask you a question”. Steyn jumped in and said “you’ve impugned her integrity and now you are saying that she can’t respond?” Curry then went on to respond. Now THAT is the way to be a witness in a senate hearing with those misguided arrogant pricks. For the Democratic Senators, it’s a good thing it ended when it did.... as it was, they only had to leave with their tails between their legs while carrying their a$$e$. And all this from a fellow who started off his introductory remarks by acknowledging, “just to let you all know, I’m not a scientist.”
