HOUSTON, Texas – Presidential candidate Ted Cruz today announced the endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli, former Attorney General of Virginia and Republican candidate for Governor in 2013. Throughout his career Cuccinelli has been a tireless advocate and strong leader in the fight to advance conservative principles by standing up to the Washington Cartel to protect life and marriage, stop tax increases, and defend the Constitution.
“I’m pleased to endorse Ted Cruz for President. Not only does he have a proven track record for standing up for conservative values, but he has also demonstrated a willingness to fight back against both the Democrats and the establishment agenda," said Cuccinelli. "His leadership in the Senate has been invaluable to advancing our shared principles. I am confident that he will take these same qualities with him to the White House.”
"I am thrilled to have Ken's support for President. He is smart, he's principled and he's fearless," said Cruz. "That last characteristic in particular is a rare quality in elected life. Ken will be a huge asset to our campaign."

This is a yuuge endorsement. Once this field winnows down to two-three candidates watch Cruz vault over Trump who will implode and fall to earth.

Yes he is the Conservative’s choice. I have learned there are many here at FR that actually are not Conservatives. They threw those principles out the window pretty quickly.

Trumpkins will be discombobulated when reality sets in and Trump implodes and crumbles as he surely will. Reality would intrudes on a “reality show” and the Trump carabanc loses its wheels and goes over.
Ken has a lot of pull in Virginia. This is good news. I think Trump was courting him pretty hard last I heard.

Sad but you’re right. Our movement is at a crossroads, a battle for its very soul. How many of us are eager to abandon our principles when offered a paper strongman.
Shows what a great salesman Donald Trump is, and he might be a good president, but it seems we don’t know where he stands on a lot of issues.
