You think your holiday plane ticket was expensive?
As the Obama family heads off on their annual Christmas vacation to Hawaii, conservative critics are taking aim, due to the financial burden that flying Air Force One puts on American taxpayers.
The cost of operating the presidential plane is close to $200,000 per hour.
Multiply that by the 18 hours that it takes to fly from Washington, D.C. to Honolulu and you’re talking about a $3.7 million bill for operating that flight alone.

Why did the media criticize how often Bush went on vacation, but the media and liberals never criticize how often Obama and Mrs. Obama travel????

The article then goes on to say Obama is no different than Bush because Bush took 78 vacations in the same amount of time - 68 to his ranch in Texas and 10 to the family estate in Maine.

Bush took most of his vacations at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. He certainly didn’t tap the taxpayer funds anywhere near the extent that these 2 have.
And he has a Republican congress willing to give him anything and everything on his list.
Congress needs to cease funding of presidential vacations.
Almost every photo of the Oboomba tribe deplaning looks like mourners leaving a funeral. Millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund their jet setting lifestyle, and they’re unhappy about it. Typical entitled, leftist ingrates.
Congress won’t touch Marie Antoinette.
At least Bus occasionally did what he was supposed to. Obama spends most of his time having fun, attacking Americans, helping the enemy, or expanding government’s reach.

He and his family spend $1.5 BILLION dollars a year on themselves and those serving them- in 8 years he will have spent $12 BILLION dollars on he and his family!
Meanwhile Seniors, disabled and veterans can’t get a cost of living increase- but he and congress can get theirs!
