Mosque Linked To Muslim Brotherhood Has Received Millions In Federal Grants
Daily Caller ^ | December 28, 2015 | Chuck Ross

A Kansas City mosque owned by an Islamic umbrella organization with deep ties to the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood has received millions of dollars in federal grants over the past several years, according to a federal spending database.

The Islamic Center of Greater Kansas City has received $2,739,891 from the Department of Agriculture since 2010, a Daily Caller analysis has found. The money largely went to the mosque's Crescent Clinic to provide services through the Women, Infant and Children nutrition program, known as WIC.

Property records show the mosque is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which acts as a financial holding company for Islamic organizations. It offers sharia-compliant financial products to Muslim investors, operates Islamic schools and owns more than 300 other mosques throughout the U.S.

Founded in 1973 as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed Muslim Students Association, NAIT's most controversial connection is to the 2007 and 2008 Holy Land Foundation terror financing cases. Along with other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations like the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), NAIT was named a co-conspirator in the federal case but was not indicted.

The sad news is that any thinking person knows this and they also knows our government is FUBAR.

There is a solution, we may get there finally.

Fiat, unbacked, printed money allows massive debt and allows free-wheeling government spending to support progressive government, and the many devious social-engineering schemes of leftist politicians.

This is just one of 10,000 examples.

I guess they’re getting grants from the Department of Agriculture because they are sowing deceit.

And the pointy-heads in Washington DC want to know why many Americans are backing the loose-cannon on the deck, Donald Trump. We are tired of the crap that is going on in our government with our taxes.

He can't possibly do a worse job than the Obama administration or a Hillary administration.

Thank you for referencing that article COUNTrecount. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

”. . . has received $2,739,891 from the Department of Agriculture since 2010, a Daily Caller analysis has found. The money largely went to the mosque's Crescent Clinic to provide services through the Women, Infant and Children nutrition program, known as WIC.”

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument

Since the federal funding in question is not reasonably related to Congresss Commerce Clause powers (1.8.3) imo, such funding is unconstitutional. This is because the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to tax and spend for INTRAstate nutritional programs.

In fact, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified Congresss limited power to appropriate taxes as evidenced by the following excerpts.

”Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” - Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Your point is well taken however there are many Christian charities which receive federal money. A mistake in my opinion as the feds are definitely hostile to Christians.

“”however there are many Christian charities which receive federal money””

They OPERATE and label themselves as Christian charities but those are merely names for them to fool everyone - they are in the business of raking in the federal dough to resettle refugees in this country and perhaps other services but that’s it!! Baptist Family Services and Catholic Charities are in the business for that reason and no other. They do resettle refugees in communities and after that it’s the communities who have to figure out what to do with them. Those so-called CHRISTIAN charities have bowed out at that point. Nice scam, huh?
