Medical care consists of returning an ill or injured body back to normal function as much as possible. Abortion consists of destroying a normal result of sex (the preborn child) that is not medical care.

Because taking a medication to correct a medical deficiency is the same as taking a medication or having a procedure in order to kill your unborn child.

South Carolina Rep. Mia McLeod (D) wants men who claim they need Viagra or other erectile dysfunction medication to get something straight: the government is going to stick its regulatory nose into your bedroom business. Obviously, this is not just about making it tougher for men who are already having a tough time in bed. McLeod said her legislation regarding male sexuality is meant to give the male-dominated South Carolina Legislature a better idea of the hoops a woman has to jump through before she can get an abortion.

1. I would prefer to see a very high standard met before anyone gets my tax dollars. Abortion never meets that standard, and neither does recreational sex (and thus Viagra does not).

2. Outside the realm of taxpayer subsidies, there is a huge difference between Viagra and abortion, namely that Viagra does not kill an innocent child. Liberals pretend this is not the point in abortion legislation, but they really know better. We cannot allow them to continue repeating the lie that abortion restrictions are not about saving innocent lives unchallenged.
