You know I pointed this out once and was chastised by a number of 'expert FReeper volcanologist' that it wouldn't be near the calamity claimed. They even discounted the map below as totally inaccurate.

There’d be plenty of time for the Progressives on the coasts to black-slap, gloat and hold celebratory parties over the mass demise of all the Bitter Clingers in flyover country. Before they hit upon the realization of where their food came from.

I believe people in Florida would be able to die off at a slower rate... might take a few weeks rather than instantly...
