Hardline conservatives should be celebrating the Republican response speech to the State of the Union, offered by Gov. Nikki Haley of South Carolina. The speech was a testament to how far the party is willing to go to cater to the putrid racism of the conservative base, as Haley, using her own background as the child of Indian immigrants, demonized immigrants and refugees fleeing war, and, in a particularly odious display, used the murder of nine people at the hands of a racist to scold Black Lives Matter protesters for speaking out.
But the right just ain't having it, it turns out. That's because, even though Haley was willing to sign off on most of the agenda items of the bigoted base, she insisted on doing so using the coded language that conservatives have used for decades now to convey racist ideas while pretending to be not racist. These days, the base wants to communicate racist ideas with bullhorns, not nudges. And Haley's old school style, of declaring that conservatives aren't racist while winking at the audience, just isn't going to fly.
The backlash against Haley started immediately on Twitter, with prominent figures on the right such as Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, John Nolte, and, of course, Ann Coulter, flipping out and attacking Haley.
This burst of outrage at Haley for using coded instead of blunt attacks on immigrants and anti-racist activists got juice, of course, from Donald Trump, who responded by saying she's "very weak on illegal immigration."
Speaks volumes.
I wonder what McConnhole promised this jerk to give that response. I bet she does not yet know, she put her chips on the wrong side.
Conervatives are against an Invasion of Hispanics and Syrians.
Neither is a race so what the hell is this ridiculous accusation of racism.

Even that FemiNazi nut job Marcotte approved of Haley’s so called SOTU response. Haley sure has made the right friends to get a cushy job inside the Beltway once she is out of the SC governor’s mansion.
Continuously and falsely demonizing people you disagree with is going to really, really backfire on the libtards, eventually.
Maybe becoming the RINO Senator from SC once Graham quits.
Trikki Nikki sold her soul to either Jeb or Rubio.
She and the rest are merely on the Chamber of Commerce’s cheap labor express.
Optically, she was the perfect choice for the GOPe response - female of color, immigrant.
Fortunately, most of the base didn’t fall for the theater of the absurd.
Her chips were on the wrong side when she participated in dismantling southern history, culture and tradition. The real question is why the Republican Party insulted Constitutional Conservatives and southerners by choosing this traitor to give the response.

Haley stands for letting Isis Trojan horses in as “REFUGEES” to kill our innocent citizens.She is now total political history. I don’t think she will win again in South Caroline. Ill bet she gets primaried. Trump is so strong in South Carolina it is a double take !!
Haley was done when she rolled over on the flag. She might as well go ‘all in’ for the establishment.
