Amen. Well stated. I just keep praying Trump has the best security he can get. The hatred for hin and any attempt out there to stop him just keeps getting more unbelievable by the minute.

A paperwork mistake

While it's understandable that you are so forgiving of Cruz as he's your guy, you fail to understand that the loans undercut the premise of his 2012 campaign where he crafted a story of liquidating everything he had to win the seat.

Sadly, this failure and especially with the ties to Goldman Sachs and Citi makes him look dishonest.

I know; I think Karl Rove will be the trigger man! Followed by one or two out-of-control freepers here. I don’t think you need to worry - the Trumpster says he packs heat.

“Now that Trump is making his defense of New York values the centerpiece of his campaign”

Hardly. It’s the just the winning issue de jure for Trump right now. He’ll make hay with this one as long as it works against Trump and then he’ll move on.

The centerpieces of Trump’s campaign remain as they always have:

1. Build our military back up.

2. Take care of our vets.

3. Build a southern wall at the expense of Mexico.

4. Bring back American jobs to America.

5. Halt Muslim immigration.

6. Make America Great Again.

He consistently outlines these priorities in every speech.

“Cruz is pretty well much toast from here on out.”

Unfortunately that is correct:

“More like Cruz had abandoned his effect campaign strategy to go all out in attacking Trump and abandoned taking about the issues. He is just doing the same thing as Rand, Walker, Jindal and the rest. Fine, it’s his right. He wants to win. But he is no longer sticking to the issues. He just another win at all costs politican. I get it he has to take on Trump. Well he was doing fine without attacking anyone. The eligibility situation freaked him out. Oh well.”

Indeed. And you have to hand it to Trump into maneuvering Cruz into this freakout. Trump is way more wily than I’ve been giving him credit for.

I was going to send compliments too. And now that I see you have, I will pile on.

It has a marvelous piece of insight, well stated to boot.

I'm not concerned about the social conservative bona fides of a president. It's locales, states, congress and the courts that have been undercutting conservative values on the social front. I don't think Trump is of a mind to nominate activist judges.

It’s a good question but you don’t address it with substance. Maybe you’ll get some insightful relies though.

IMO Trump and Cruz are both going overboard now in their attempt to win Iowa.
It ain’t worth it.

Thanks. The people who think that the president should be the Ideologue-In-Chief are becoming tiresome.

Trump gave s heart felt and honest response.

That's your take on "waving the bloody shirt"?

People used to be able to see through such facile rhetoric.

I have to laugh when I hear my fellow FReepers whine about Trump's abortion views 17 years ago.

George W. Bush was a supposed "Evangelical" who was as "pro-life" as they come. So what? We didn't get a SINGLE PENNY deducted from the coffers of Planned Parenthood, as they butchered millions of children and sold their body parts. We didn't get any investigation b y Alberto Gonzales. But he did try and stab every American in the back with a massive amnesty for his Mexican buddies. And he did disgrace every American by taking his shoes off in a Muslim Brotherhood mosque while the WTC still smouldered. And he did enrich the Military Industrial Complex by about $1.1 trillion for a stupid war against someone who had nothing to do with 9/11 to avenge his NWO Daddy.

And we all supported GWB and fought for his re-election as if the world depended on it. I donated thousands to Bush and his idiot Rove.

I am done. If Trump does NOTHING ELSE but build a wall and stop the Muslim invasion, he belongs on Mount Rushmore.

I heard Trump is a shape shifting reptilian from the Pleiades who morphs into a moonbat when Venus is trine Uranus. That never ends well either.
