150 Billion Dollars Buys You How Many A-Bombs?

No wonder Iran has given up its nuclear weapons development program. With the $150 billion we are giving them, they can buy all of the nukes they need from North Korea. Trump is correct when he says our country is run by stupid people!

From Real Clear Politics, Sept 10, 2015...

"In a 2014 New Yorker interview, Obama said his goal was to create a 'new equilibrium' in the Middle East.

In the short run, at least, his signature diplomatic undertaking can be counted on to bring more violence to this volatile region.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, as the [Obama-Putin Iran deal] agreement is formally known, provides the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism an infusion of somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 billion of unfrozen assets and a great deal more of continuing revenues as businesses and governments around the world rush to profit from oil-and-gas-rich Iran's reintegration into the world economy.

The agreement relaxes the international isolation of the Islamic Republic and ratifies Tehran's status as a nuclear threshold state. And it relieves restrictions on Iran's acquisition of weapons, including ballistic missiles. ..."

North Korea? Pakistan would sell them nukes in a heartbeat. It has already assisted in the research.

Well, if Pakistan is truly siding with Saudi Arabia in the whole Iran affair, I wonder if they’d sell to Iran giving that Iran might also use them against Saudi Arabia.

Now, North Korea, OTOH.......

Not that I trust Pakistan, mind you.

I’m no fan of Iran. But I’m much more concerned about the Wahabis, Al Qaeda, Sunnis, and Saudis than Iran. Iran (or Assad) has not been as much of a problem, even if Wolf Blitzer and USA MSM and establishment portrays them as such.

The Saudis have always been the root problem. They cultivate these wackos Muslims. They cultivated the Sunnis who were the IED specialists that maimed and killed many GIs. They cultivated AQ who got us on 9-11.

Tell us again why Iran is the problem that the biased USA media tells us it is and no I don’t give a flying xxxx about what other countries think.

Is there a betting pool yet for how many months or years to the so called nuclear Breakout when Iran will have nuclear weapons on delivery vehicles and have left only the timing of the decision to launch? Who believes Iran will be actually monitored for compliance? The pressure now is OFF! I do hope that Israel is far more advanced in things like Laser ABM systems than we know. I hope we have or shortly will have such systems emplaced to protect America. If Iran launches against Israel I am sure they will take a side shot at DC or NYC or NOLA.

Characterizing the situation as having a single source - a "the problem" - is a fallacy of oversimplification. I think the biggest threat Iran poses is the possibility that they'll touch off a nuclear exchange with Israel or use nukes to mine the Straight.

It turns out to be quite a lot cheaper to keep a nuclear arsenal than a standing army.

Thanks for the reply. I’m always off the mark so what do I know? I do believe one of the problems is nuclear proliferation, be it in the ME or in the world. The other is the continuing trend to involve the increasingly indebted USA in perpetual wars in the ME.

The ME should take care of their own problems. It’s not our problem anymore. The USA has energy self sufficiency.

The Paks are Sunni Arabs, the Iranians are Shiia Persians and ‘ner the twain shall meet, except on the field of battle ... the Paks would only give the Iranians a nuke by same air delivery via one of their ICBMs.

Saudi is rumored to have Pak nukes under contract in case of an emergency. A Pak general said the other day that if Iran ruffles one Saudi feather there will be little left of Iran when they finish ...
