At a commercial break in the Demonrat debate, You Tube showed a little speech by Hillary where she began talking about opioid addiction and the drug problem.
She called for federal money for programs and said police need to always have an antidote for opioid overdose with them at all times m
She ended this short NBC produced spiel by saying drug use needs to cease being a criminal issue and be put where it belongs, as a health issue.

I'm OK with legalizing drugs for recreational use as long as the drugs are required to contain ingredients that will have cumulative "terminal effects" on the user over a relatively short span of use - say, 1 week.Does that include the recreational drug alcohol?
The recreational use of alcohol does have cumulative terminal effects,
Should it be required to contain ingredients that will accelerate the terminal effects to 1 week, as you advocate for other recreational drugs?
and the people who use it that way should be denied health insurance.
Insurers should be free to so decide (or decide not).

Yes, the Chinese had the right idea in dealing with chronic / habitual users of recreational chemicals - euthanasia.

Adulate Third World despotisms if you like - I'll stick with our Founding Fathers' ideals of limited government.

"Third World despotisms"
In third world depotisms, choice is scarce or non existant.
People can always choose to step away from the abyss, and be given the opportunity to do so. But the abyss remains for those that will not.
