he (Cruz) told Chris Wallace that underlings misled him

Really? Highly intelligent people don't rely on others. They form their own opinions. Isn't this equivalent to voting on the bill before reading it?

And who are these underlings (itself an insulting description)? Constitutional Conservatives were really letting Cruz have it about his position while he was hawking giving Obama more power with trade agreements.

In the case of Cruz switching his vote on crop insurance its even worse...Cruz is blaming his staff for mixing up the order of the votes when in fact he switched his vote after Sen. Pat Roberts told him a no vote would hurt him in Iowa.
