The most recently taken poll in Iowa which was conducted Jan 18-19th with 687 likely caucus voters shows Cruz back on top by 2%. Cruz is supported by 27% while Trump is supported by 25%. I think this means that Iowa voters are looking past ethanol and have noticed Trumps pivot to the left. Cheer up fellow Cruz fans, I think Cruz is still going to win Iowa.

Another poll out today has Trump up by one - too close to call and too soon to see the Palin effect if any.

Tweet this poll, Senator Cruz. Fight Trump on his own turf.

With the margin of error at 3.7% it can also mean that Trump is ahead at 29% and Cruz down at 23%. Just the facts!

I think it’s nip and tuck and we’re underestimating the impact of Branstad and Palin this past week. This could not possibly been reflected in this poll.

So its essentially tied, which is what the other Iowa poll out today also shows.
No wonder the Cruz people are getting so desperate.

And evangelicals are the least polled and analyzed sector of the base, completely unpredictable, and they want Cruz.

I guess Bristol Palin’s attack on Cruz back fired ;)

The Loras poll today has Trump up by 1 so it’s apparently too close to call at the moment. I suppose the Iowa Poll by Anne Selzer will be the poll to watch.

Poll was taken before Palin’s endorsement. I’m sure that polling is currently being done to measure what effect Palin’s endorsement has had on the race in Iowa.
Also, since Glenn Beck has claimed that the TEA Party is “racist,” Cruz should be asked whether he supports Beck’s assessment, since Beck has offered his endorsement of Cruz, and Cruz has accepted that endorsement. Cruz should also be asked whether or not he regrets being party to Beck’s welcome party thrown down at the border where they handed out soccer balls and teddy bears to invaders.

Caucus night should be exciting. Beer and nachos are mandatory.

I’m just happy that this election we are the ones being asked to hold our nose and vote for the “viable” person. Instead the GOPe is being told to vote for someone they don’t like :-)
