I approve the following message by one of our FR friends . . . make that two: If Trump wins, I win If Cruz wins, I win If Hillary wins, we all lose. The most true and sensible thing I've heard in this forum in weeks, thanks Friend!

“Donald Trump is not sitting in Congress or the White House.”

Let me respond to your statement in this way: you are correct.

I get where your going. Unfortunately you can't separate who decides to back your man without looking at why they are backing him.

Again, you choose to back a non-Conservative to go for the win. Could be my fault that I think most, if not all, that post their conscience here are Conservatives/Libertarians.

I could be wrong.

And that’s why I didn’t think it was wise to address him as part of the establishment. Grouping him in with corruption didn’t seem well targeted on that line of thought.

That’s all.

You Cruzers are so fickle, first it’s Trump won’t be able to do anything on his own because he does not know how Congress works. Then when Trump is the clear winner and Congress starts lining-up behind him, you call Trump establishment. Perhaps your real problem is that you and your candidate are losers, and your behavior here pretty much demonstrates that you will never shake that title.

if these guys got behind Cruz, you would be crowing about how the GOPe was finally seeing the light and surrendering, and Cruz would not refuse them.

Hey! if the GOP-e get behind a candidate with true conservative values and after Ted standing up to them on the Senate Floor over Obamacare, and they are willing to accept TED's platform, I SAY FINE!!!..

Whoa dude. Who said Trump wouldn't get anything done? I would certainly question WHAT he would get done given his history.

I guess we have crossed the Rubicon where on this site, because you express opinions (with facts) you are labeled a loser.

You vote for Trump and I'll vote for Cruz and we'll see what happens.

I'm upset with myself that I wasted cyberspace answering the likes of you......too late.

No, the Rubicon you crossed was the insulting, condescending and just generally offensive way in which you present yourself.

Most of my posts have been sympathetic to Trump over Cruz. Not anymore. This shows it all. They know Donald will make deals and Cruz will not. The secret is out! Trump’s tactics were done to take air out of Cruz’s sails.

If Hillary wins, FreeRepublic will consist of 4 years of one side of the Trump/Cruz debate blaming the other side for not supporting the nominee.

Good God, you've got that right. The only good thing about this Cruz vs Trump meat grinder is that it has distracted the portion of FR that STILL blames Obama on the non-Mitt voters

Cruz didn’t need to trash anyone before he shot up from single digits to second position. He kept on message on the issues. kept doing the hard work of campaigning from small town to small town and put in a string of strong performances at the debates. That’s all it took.
However in view of Trump’s nasty, vicious, dastardly personal attacks, Cruz has had to attack Trump on the issues, like how really liberal Trump is. Cruz is far too classy to launch personal attacks.

Unless you can point to a personal attack I was just stating my opinion.

You didn't like it (your prerogative) and then projected.

It happens. Doesn't change the facts though.

“Cruz didn’t need to trash anyone before he shot up from single digits to second position. “

BECAUSE TRUMP DID THE DIRTY WORK FOR HIM!

Are you seriously trying to spin that Cruz just magically went from single digits to 2nd based on some folksy yarn of him just pounding the pavement?

No one seriously buys that.

You've got it all wrong.

Not saying Trump is "Establishment", just that Trump is the Establishment's candidate over Cruz.

Which speaks volumes on who they think they can better "Deal".

I know you are excited, but just calm down.

If posted before, I'm voting Cruz in my primary but will support your guy should he get the nomination.

I swear, you Trumpeteers act like tween girls at a Justin Beiber concert.

After the primaries, we'll be on the same side. ...I hope.

If you can say as I, If my guy wins you'll support him for President??

I hope Trump’s supporters feel the same about Cruz.

I think most of us do. If Cruz wins the nomination I'll crawl over broken glass to vote for him rather than let the Socialist party win.

Okay, try this one:

Look, I get it. Most Trump supporters don't care that he was pro abortion or pro amnesty or pro socialized medicine or said Bill BiBlasio would be a great mayor. Your ilk just wants the win and if it means you need to sacrifice some principles, then so be it.

I am a Trump supporter and I find this post to be condescending, insulting and just downright ugly. You cruzers post this kind of crap nonstop and then act like a little cry baby bitch whenever someone responds.

So all veterans who served in the Senate cannot be criticized? I guess that means we need to leave John Kerry alone, too?

I think John Kerry would be going too far for me. Also, notable veteran Ted Kennedy would be a bit much.

Again, my opinion. Never lashed out, never called a name.

In fact, I wasn't even addressing you. You jumped in and started with the projecting.....by the way I dig the Cruzers thing and even if you said anything offensive, not sure it would matter.

You are offended because I said I don't consider one who backs Trump to be Conservative. My opinion based on Trump's own record.....there are those facts again. Pesky things.

I think I've wished you luck in the primaries before and I will again.

For the record, I will vote for Trump if he gets the nod as I despise Hillary.

Wait one.....

“I am a Trump supporter and I find this post to be condescending, insulting and just downright ugly. You cruzers post this kind of crap nonstop and then act like a little cry baby bitch whenever someone responds.”

How do you come after me for being insulting and ugly and then call me a little cry baby b%#ch?

Hypocrisy much? We're cool though. Not the worst thing I've been called my lifetime.
