Police have an eight-year-old Florida boy in custody after he allegedly stole his mother’s gun and tried to rob a store with it.
Eboni Alls said her 8-year-old wanted to go to the park Wednesday night, but after she told him to go, she later learned he was up to no good.
One employee said he wasn’t sure if the gun was real or fake in the moment, but that he took the threat seriously. Several workers reacted quickly, and one reached Jaden, twisted his wrist, and took the weapon away.
An employee attempted to take the child to an office within the store, but Jaden tried to get away. The store manager called police, who took Jaden into custody.

Who in their right mind lets an 8 year old run the streets alone at night in this day and age?
He obviously won’t receive punishment at home. Guns were loaded when I was a child, but u didn’t even breathe on them without permission because u would get.. The switch. I didn’t have to understand why, I just had to obey.
If you have a gun and a child, there must be rules.. Obviously no rules at his house. His intent was to rob a store.. Is that the new superhero, a robber? Make him go before a judge who dismisses the case.. It seems he has too much freedom at home, so make him fear someone.. Or he might progress in his behavior.
Somebody who only bred the bastard for benefits. In civilized (”white”) areas this mother would face serious charges for allowing the child access to the gun; we have no expectations whatsoever of our black population.
This child soldier is lucky he wasn’t killed; imagine what he’ll be doing when he is 12.
