Corruption begins in the hearts of people who no longer know what is and isn’t moral.
If guns cause crime and guns are bad, why wasn’t the gun escorted off. According to the press, it is the gun’s fault. Seemingly it is never the perp’s fault, why is this guy at fault? Oh yeah, he played by the rules; silly me.
Didn’t even discharge the weapon and still got canned. I’d be gettin’ me an attorney.
i work in a college. during a discussion of firearms and school shootings, i was told that they needn’t worry - that i would get my gun and stop things. i looked up and said “you put so much effort to keep me from defending myself, don’t expect me to lift a finger to defend you.” i’m behind two sturdy doors and a cinderblock wall, not behind an open windowed office like them.

If he’d pulled out a Pride flag and waved it at the perp, he would have been promoted. That’s what corporations are all about these days.

A Clintonesque response. The guy is an employee of a GM contractor. The GM guy tossed him off of working at the GM location.
Well what’s more important company policy or someone’s life? OBVIOUSLY company policy at GM.
Prayers that his 2nd amendment rights will not be violated and that he will get his job back.

There are no polite words that would accurately convey the disgust that I feel about this.
Not that I needed yet another reason to never buy Chevrolet.
Because you can’t have an honorable black man with a gun, it doesn’t fit the attorney’s world view.
