Trump is refuting a claim that nobody ever made.

So...he seems to be suggesting that the Saudi government had a hand in the handiwork of Saudi citizens? Plausible, I guess. Not really proven, I don’t think.

If he can come up with this, why didn’t he ever find any of Barack Obama’s life documentation.

“You may find it’s the Saudis.”

The ones Bush secretly flew out of the country?

I think Trump is correct. The Saudis had much more of a role than what was ever considered by Bush admin. Daddy and son were way too close with that backward regime.

9/11 was never part of the justification for the War in Iraq. That war was all about controlling WMDs in order to prevent them from falling into the hands of terrorists.

Either Trump knows this, and does not care, or Trump does not know this, which means he is completely uninformed. Either way, it is bad.

“It wasn’t the Iraqis,” he explained. “You may find it’s the Saudis.”

Well, there’s that.

True enough, I’m quite sure.

I hope he doesn’t start talking about controlled demolitions and how “fires don’t melt steel beams...” etc.

Saudi Arabia mined their oil production facilities with Cesium and other radioactive elements in a kind of tripwire, Doomsday Machine to discourage invasion. This was when oil was artificially hiked in value by distribution restriction, (the thing that made Standard Oil a monopoly, restricting railcar distribution of oil, not the low value oil itself). Now that the Saudis are officially economic warfare enemies of the US, the Bush 43 policy of coddling them needs to be publicly renounced.

Maybe we can find out if fire melts steel.

His bottom line is that he links Jeb to his family's close relationship with the Saudi royal family and brother's weird decision to attack Iraq as retribution for the attack funded by the House of Saud.

What really happened on 911? Do we really know? Is there some truth to the truthers? Only Trump dare explore the issue. I love it.

He may be correct, but muslim extremists are what they are, no matter the country they come from.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3119676.stm

Mr Bush has never directly accused the former Iraqi leader of having a hand in the attacks on New York and Washington, but he has repeatedly associated the two in keynote addresses delivered since 11 September. Senior members of his administration have similarly conflated the two.
