Politics makes strange bedfellows, as the saying goes, but maybe it’s not so strange that the anti-war loony left group Code Pink praised Donald Trump’s embrace of their “Bush Lied, People Died†mantra in the South Carolina debate. Trump’s comments that President George W. Bush deliberately sent Americans to their deaths based on a lie and knew 9/11 was coming and did nothing fits Code Pink’s alternate universe. Trump’s character assassination of the last Republican President should disqualify him from being the next one.

Did you ever see the video from that picture? It was when I went all in for Cruz. The man called the Pinkos up and debated Medea Benjamin right there on the spot and had her meekly saying, “ok, thank you” by the end of it. It was masterful.
So in this late hour, “praising” is the equivalent of “being together” lock step, stumping everywhere.

Trump is a fraud and the fact that he is as popular as he is proves that a third of the American populace can be convinced of anything.

It is this one dynamic, this philosophical coupling of Code Pink and Trump, that sheds an extremely negative light on Trump.
And it makes many of Trump’s overt supporters appear dogmatic and extreme when they leap to defend him.

Something tells me that had 911 happened on Trumps watch, nukes would have been flying. Trump doesn’t like to be attacked and he seems to have a tendency of responding with overwhelming force, even for small slights.

If you are familiar with religious messianic cults, you would realize that it takes a lot more than pointing out the truth of someone's religious idol to shake the faith of his followers.
As The Donald told his adoring disciples, he could shoot someone on the streets of New York and he wouldn't lose a follower.
So nothing is going to change. He's gonna build that Great Wall. He's gonna give us Universal Health Care. He's gonna deport 11 million illegals and then bring them back with open arms.
