That’s one I’ll certainly miss! Mitt the loser has dropped even further in my already low opinion of him.
Look’s like the GOPe is preparing to go full tilt scorched earth on voters to prevent a Trump nomination, and they’re pulling out mittens to light the fire.
If Trump, or to a lesser extent Cruz, manage to win the nomination, I expect the GOPe to renege on their support for the nominee, and throw their support behind hitlery, either openly, or more likely, undermining the GOPe candidate.
I always thought Romney was a decent guy...no fire in the belly, a plodder, stays the course and gets things done, and a good family man. His showing yesterday changed my opinion of him, and I bet a lot more people feel the same way. Why or what got him to do that? Can’t help but think it was quid pro quo...he is facing that racketeering charge as I learned on F.R. and maybe he’s been offered some mitigation there. And is he actually thinking of swooping up the nomination if it comes down to a brokered convention? It would be too little too late.
