In July of 1993, a 15-year old mother was brought to Women’s Health Care Services to abort her little girl in the late stages of pregnancy. In fact, so far advanced was the pregnancy that the baby was already in position for delivery.
Not having yet perfected his induction method of abortion, according to accounts, George Tiller “injected the baby’s head, in two places, the left side of her forehead above the eyebrow and at the base of the skull, with Potassium Chloride, leaving permanent burn marks and needle track scars.”
When the young mother returned the next day for the actual abortion procedure, it was found that the baby had not died, as intended, from the lethal injections into her head. The mother was sent to a local hospital where the baby was delivered, wrapped in a blanket, and left in a bassinet without attendance to die.
Amazingly, after 24 hours, the child continued to live in spite of the fact that she had not been cleaned up, her umbilical cord was still attached and she had received no hydration or nourishment. A nurse took pity on the baby and contacted an attorney, who in turn contacted a loving family that adopted the little girl, whom they named Sarah.

A picture of Baby Sarah is at the webpage. I had seen it before so I was vaguely familiar with this story. It's really an amazing read. I read many of the pro-life stories the good forum brothers and sisters post as they do a very good job but I don't think I ever felt compelled to post one myself. So, this is back in '93, so if the angel lived to 5 years old, she passed away in '98. Who knows how there may be other similar cases as well, that didn't make it.

Everything pro-choicers touch turns to dust, by their fruits, you will know them. It be Obama who voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act of Illinois 4 times (and that, BAIPA applies to this story) or Sanger Award winner Clinton or whomever else, their agenda is doomed to failure because of their moral vacancy.

Ditto here. What amazes me is do many misguided women regarded Tiller as a “hero.” That evil bastard got exactly what he deserved.

In NYC about twenty five years ago some foreigner (Abu Hayat) attempted an abortion and told the mother he’d terminated the pregnancy; months later she bore a child with one arm (he’d just cut one off and thought he was done).
