If I were Cruz, I would not want this dunderhead supporting me. Islam resurgent is the problem facing all of the civilized world, not "extremists in the Christian faith."

yeah, that would have been my reaction a few months ago.
Just like Belgium, you can’t sympathize when the door is open and the enemy is invited in.
Cruz has lots of people that are completely comfortable speaking for him (PACs, Bushes, Gopers, Beck).
Cruz has no ability, or desire, to tell them to stop when they go off the deep end.
So either Cruz is too scared to tell them to stop, or he agrees with them.
