Ex-attorney says D.C. Madam’s phone records are ‘relevant’ to presidential race
U.S. News and World Report ^ | March 28, 2016 | Steven Nelson

Posted on 03/29/2016 6:32:41 PM PDT by fireman15

A lawyer who represented the so-called “D.C. madam” says he has phone records that could influence the outcome of the presidential election, and he’s threatening to release one or more names on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court if he’s denied a hearing on his right to distribute them.

Montgomery Blair Sibley, the late madam Deborah Palfrey’s colorful attorney, has been subject to a restraining order since 2007 barring him from releasing the information, which he says includes 815 names, addresses and Social Security numbers of Verizon Wireless customers.

“Time is of the essence because people are casting votes in primaries and caucuses,” he says. “I believe this information is relevant to that political discourse.”

Sibley first said the records could be relevant to the presidential race in January, when there were 15 high-profile candidates. Now, just three Republicans and two Democrats remain – though Sibley won’t say if any are implicated, citing fear of being jailed for contempt.

He would not say if he was surprised by a National Enquirer report last week that alleged Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, had engaged in five extramarital affairs. Cruz, currently in second place in the GOP contest, vigorously denied the report on Friday, and in doing so uncapped mainstream media coverage.

This lawyer says that if the Supreme Court does not modify the gag order protecting the "DC Madam's" politician customers he is willing to risk going to jail to expose one of the Republican candidates.

Sorry, the guy won’t say whether the candidate who is going to be affected is a Democrat or Republican. So it might be Bernie or Hillary. LOL

Well, we know Donald doesn’t have to pay for it, so he’s out of the running.

Why doesn’t he just anonymously leak it and then deny that he’s the source? The dems do that every election cycle and never get punished for it.

Personally, I think it might be that Slick is on the list.

“he is willing to risk going to jail to expose one of the Republican candidates.”

Not likely to be Trump as he is not a DC type. Ted, Kasich or maybe even Marco? Ted was very nervous with Anderson Cooper tonight. Could not remember where Fort Hood was.

Montgomery Blair Sibley. That sounds like a character in a
Danielle Steel Hardback trilogy novel. He would be the executor of some wealthy person’s estate. Mr. Sibly is secretly hoping that no one shows up for the reading of the will, so that he gets to skim a little more from the estate’s portfolio.

It is true... it could be Bill. I am not sure that would actually have any effect on the election however.

How about a two-fer:

Bill and Hillary!™

Separately, with the same woman...

Strangely, all 815 customers are named William Jefferson Clinton, but all 815 have different DC addresses and telephone numbers.

I should have just quoted the article exactly. He said if he didn’t get permission he was going to release it anyway. I do not actually know what the repercussions will be.

Not necessarily. Trump. Out of the running. I wouldn’t suspect him of such, but some men gotta have more than others.

"he is willing to risk going to jail to expose one of the Republican candidates.”

I don't care if he spills the beans. Any Republican politician who gives his real name to a DC prostitute is too stupid to become President.

Did the politician he’s threatening to expose, patronize prostitutes, or work as one?
