(CNSNews.com) - Sometime in the next four years the global population of human beings who are 65 and older will surpass those under 5 for the first time, according to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau.
“For the first time in human history, people aged 65 and older will outnumber children under age 5,” says the report, entitled “An Aging World: 2015.”
“This crossing is just around the corner, before 2020,” says the report.
“These two age groups will then continue to grow in opposite directions,” it says. “By 2050, the proportion of the population 65 and older (15.6 percent) will be more than double that of children under age 5 (7.2 percent).
“This unique demographic phenomenon of the ‘crossing’ is unprecedented,” says the Census Bureau.

But this is really concerning, maybe, like in Japan this is probably already happened and they’re making robots to take care of people.

Back in the early 90s I had an application that would show you the breakdown of population by age, in ten-year increments, for all countries then extant.
Third-world crapholes had a distribution that looked like a step pyramid—invariably.
The distributions for developed countries looked rather like tops or inverted pyramids. That is, there were more seniors than babies.
The first time in history, but it will stay this way for the next 200 years or so.
Not abortion. Contraception. Pills, tubal ligations, vasectomies. Demographic winter, the threat of a post-human world, and nobody cares.
The Obamacare Death Squads have heir work cut out for them.
Cut off their social security and deny the old geezers Obamacare.
The kids will have to be indoctrinated from infancy so that they will be happy paying an 85 percent effective tax rate to pay for our Social Security and health benefits.
Part of the cause is that regular, working class, taxpaying people can’t afford larger families of their own due to high taxes and inflation.
And too much of their earnings go to the government for wealth redistribution.
In effect, taxpayers are paying for other people to have kids and then supporting their kids.
As the mother of a young family, I can definitly say that is part of it. Combine that with a tax burden and health care issues that almost make it mandatory to have two incomes. We could survive on one income, but we wouldn’t have enough to plan for a retirement that isn’t government sponsored. Basically, I work so that we don’t have to eventually rely on Medicaid and nursing homes. As far as more kids, my body’s tapped out. I’d love to adopt, but state and fed gov have made that heartbreakingly difficult.
Western culture will fade with a whimper because of ZPG policies driven by the elites since WWII. Equatorial regions never adopted these policies and will flood into the vacuum left by dying populations who failed to replace themselves.
And we all vote!!!
