We need to be taxing at about 19 or 20 percent of GDP and spending at about 17 percent. Instead, we are spending at 24 percent GDP and taxing at about 19 percent.

I am not going to get more generous.

Government was never intended to be wealth redistributor charity.

“Either tax rates rise or generosity falls”

I vote for falling generosity.

Fed.gov needs to have a debt crisis and failure - the sooner the better while Americans still have some notion of states’ rights and local governance to step into the vacuum, and while some people still remember what the Constitution is.

Aborting 2 million future wage earners/taxpayers per year since 1973 has not helped.

The beginning of the “aborted generations” would now be in their prime earning years.

“Generosity falls” — After paying libenty-zillion bucks into this stinking ponzi scheme and being able to get a tiny fraction out, I’m the beneficiary of “generosity”

FU whoever put that lousy caption on that graph. If I’d been able to opt out and put away my own money for my benefit, I could have retired years ago.

Socialism sucks big time.

The Socialist solution is to raise taxes and kill the old, infirm and poor.

The level of fraud in SSI and Medicaid, and Medicare is extremely high as is the number of employees currently employed to run them. There's lots of money to be saved before we move into ending the entitlements (Because no one’s going to get elected running on cutting/ending entitlements). I'm pretty confident that Trump can make a dent in some of the problems.

Ultimately the solution to a socialist scheme like Medicare/Medicare is rationing with such long wait times that people opt for private solutions which is what works in places like Singapore. In Singapore the poor get poor healthcare from their medicaid system and the middle class and up buy cheap full on capitalist healthcare. Capitalism is the solution to bad systems like this but we need to get a reformer in there for a chance to fix the broken systems.

“either tax rates rise or GENEROSITY falls..”

GENEROSITY..! You get that?

When Uncle Sam robs you and pays another guy, Uncle Sam is GENEROUS.

Just takes your breath away.

What can’t go on forever, won’t. The question is how many more generations are we bankrupting with entitlement spending, gargantuan government, and pension promises that cannot be honored.

We reverse the post-WWII course or face sovereign bankruptcy and dissolution.

Math is math. Neither Rome nor the Soviets were immune, despite massive military force, which in turn is expensive and must be paid for.

The biggest expenditure of the federal government is fraudulent spending. Either paying fraudulent SSI, Medicare, Medicaid and welfare benefits, of the government spending fraudulent to grease big doners palms.

Turn off the Money spigot.
Used to be the Printing Press, now it is a single Keybord and a single keystroke ... some Chimp taught to keep hitting a zero.

Laws are now suggestions for the Government, but not for You.
The Constitution is merely a whispered guideline that can mean anything you want it to mean.
Borders are just dotted lines on an old Map.

Talked with a 53 year old Ohio cop last week. He said he could retire now, but if he works another eight years and not a day after that he can pull down between a 400k to 500k pension. Unbelievable, Why would anyone work in industry.

This can will be kicked down the road much much further than most can imagine. Virtually every industrialized country is in heavy debt. Just a guess, it will be 20 yrs before this thing falls apart. How bad can it be if the whole world goes broke together?

Simple Math Shows America Is Headed for an Economic Disaster

The First Moron has repeated over and over that he's familiar with simple math.

He has announced, on national television numerous times that 2+2 = 4.

Until an honest and complete discussion occurs on the meaning of "entitlement," I ignore this bullshit.

When all spending is included, it is meaningless.

Now, a discussion of all the existing forms of welfare would be a refreshing change...

We have a welfare disaster in the future.

Those “liabilities” aren’t reported as such because the government is not legally obligated to pay them. Granted, in order to avoid getting strung from lampposts politicians will probably alter the law to screw future people while letting the high end current receivers die off or get old enough in the aggregate that they can’t shoot straight...
