Absolutely concur with you about behaving graciously and inviting all to rally together.
Excellent post, Pollster1.

From the Conservative who claimed he was an independent in a debate when Reagan was elected and would do everything in his power to Stop Reagan-Bush in 1984

YEP, a “conservative” who would now allow his group to use the word when he was “limping” to the presidency.

...I would not even trust Mitt to hold my dog for 60 seconds while I ran into a store to buy coffee.

That's a good boy.  That's right... good doggy.  Now come to Uncle Mitt.  And don't get excited or bark too loud: we wouldn't want to alarm your master who's inside getting a cup of coffee.

See that small cage strapped on the top of my SUV?  Well, that's your new home for the next few days.  We're gonna go for a nice, long cross-country drive...

;-)

I think he chokes whenever he uses the word ‘conservative’. Natural reaction.

Trump did a good job of shutting down the influential GOPe voices early on in the election cycle.

McCain took a beating and is still licking his wounds. Low energy Jeb! spend $198 million and didn't get a single delegate.

Mitt took advantage of the only opening he had to jab at Trump -- just before the Utah primary. That was all he wanted to do: get a few punches in then slither back to La Jolla, out of range of Trump's artillery.

Good point. Romney is a choker and won’t face that fact. He just expects others to pay for his bad judgment.

Quite right you are, you definitely do not want to trust Romney with your dog!

Mitt is and will remain irrelevant.

... except in Utah.

What does Mitt Romney know about fighting for his party?

He caved to Obama time and time again.

It’s time for him to throw his support behind the nominee — but he’s too self-centered for that to happen.

Tell me again how you voted for John McCain and Mitt Romney

The same way I will be voting for Trump - by holding my nose. I'm getting used to it.

Bloviate....Bloviate and more pc bloviating....so full of bull and crap, and never make sense in what ever he says, always walking in a different direction of what ever question he is asked.

Giving him the benefits of any doubt, he wasn’t ready for the presidency yet. He could’ve waited until 2020 and might have done better. When it was apparent that Trump was eclipsing him he should have joined forces. I believe Trump would’ve welcomed that. And maybe he’d be on the ticket today. But alas he was greedy.

Just a note about Utah....

VERY quite...has been since Trump took the last 5 states, I don’t know what they are going to do now...

People went with Mitt and followed him down the thorny patch again and got stabbed, so they may turn around and vote for Trump come the General...it’s hard to tell, people are not talking like they were...

- by holding my nose.

Precisely how I felt, re: Dubya, Juan and Mittens. This will be the first time since '84 I'll be able to cast my vote with a light heart, and a song on my lips. ;)

That and others things have opened my eyes wider than I ever imagined. And to think I voted for him. Buzz off Mitt. If you can’t be a part of a solution then don’t become more of the problem. If Trump wasn’t in there, Ted Cruz would have been run off by the same uniparty types long ago and we’d be holding our noses voting for Jeb.
