You have to expect escalation when giving spoiled brats everything they want. Children want and need limits, and although they might balk at the limits and try to push the boundaries, they feel more secure when they know the boundaries are there.
Leftists of any age are spoiled children. Unfortunately, society has not been acting like the responsible adult and telling them “no” whenever they come up with some hare-brained idea that no sane person would support. Society has gone along with even the most ludicrous of ideas, so the leftist children have to reach more and more to try to come up with something so outrageous that society will finally say “no” and impose the boundaries the leftists crave so much.
As a society, we should have said “no” when the left started agitating for abortion as birth control. Even now, we need to start enforcing the limits of what is acceptable in civilized society and turn back the excesses of what we have already allowed. Can anyone actually define “gay marriage”? No? Then stop the pretense that it is legal.
More armed Mothers, and Fathers, are going to be getting some target practice...
This is going to get easy support among the Turd Worlders they’re importing, where in the more civilized societies the ‘age of consent’ is pretty much when the girl has her first period and child brides (often involuntary ones) were only recently eliminated by Herculean effort...which was only done in the first place thanks to Western civilization, naturally!

Just as they did with homosexuals, television programs will also be used to define pedophiles as “normal.” It will take place gradually, beginning with brief, non-judgmental references to the fact that some minor character is a pedophile (they’ll probably come up with some other more benign word to describe the person’s behavior.) Next, pedophiles will start showing up in semi-recurring roles as the “goofy but lovable” neighbor or coworker. From there, they will start to assume main character status, with episodes about how their friends rally around and defend them after some “hateful” action is carried out against the pedophile. Soon, anyone who questions this behavior will be described as a narrow minded bigot, someone who deserves to become the object of scorn. Talk shows and award shows will then celebrate pedophiles as “courageous” and someone to be admired. It’s sick out there, and getting sicker.

Had a conversation with my friend in the early 90’s about the slippery slope that normalizing homosexuality would create and how it would eventually lead to this. We never really talked about what would follow as he was adamantly opposed to the possibility. Wonder what’s next.
