Coalition chairman MK David Biton (Likud) on Sunday addressed the proposed death penalty law for terrorists initiated by Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman during coalition negotiations.
"I think there needs to be a death penalty, not just for those who want to commit suicide, but those who want to carry out a deadly attack only to be released after a few years in some exchange deal," said Biton during an interview with Radio Lelo Hafsaka.
According to Biton, the law will provide a solution to terrorists who sit comfortably in Israeli prisons, study for an academic degree and are then released after ten years in a prisoner exchange.
"We should avoid these things. There are lots of acts of terrorism, and they are usually treated in such a way. There is a unique problem here.”
Biton said that Liberman's initiative should apply to Jewish terrorists as well.
"It is true that this will generally not apply to Jews since they are not tried in military courts. But morally, I think it should be equal. It is true that these instances are rare among Jews, but I think that if the death penalty applies to all terrorists, it should apply to Jewish terrorists as well. There is no difference.”
Biton is not the first MK to make such a call, as last August Jewish Home chairperson Naftali Bennett called to implement the death penalty for Jewish "terrorists." That call came a month after a Yisrael Beytenu death penalty bill for terrorists that was shot down by all MKs other than those in Liberman's party.

Just do what Muslims do, per the OIC, and define “terrorism” as the killing of anyone you like without cause as terrorism ... but of course it’s reason to be happy if one of your own kills someone you don’t like.
I case you’re unfamiliar with the stance, by defining it this way the OIC eliminates terrorism against non-Muslims perpetrated by Muslims as being considered terrorism.
You can be the OIC would squeal like little piggies to the media if someone gave notice that they would use definitions similar to those they use, only against them.

It’s just that the official OIC definition of “terrorism” only includes killing Muslims without right, so when CAIR says they oppose terrorism that’s the definition they are using.
Since Muslims calling the dance, like those at the OIC, seem eager to use such self-serving definitions why not proverbially poke them in be eye by issuing a statement that terrorism only involves the killing of non-muslims?
As for Muslims waging personal jihad, I hope they run afoul of Misters Smith and Wesson every single time. Then we wrap them in a pig skin before burial....
