It wasn’t quite an apology at Hiroshima, though some might argue that President Obama’s mere presence at the site of the world’s first use of nuclear weapons was itself an apology. What it was a reiteration of President Obama’s mantra that our weapons are the threat, whether guns or nukes, and not the criminals and tyrants that would use them against us. As the New York Times reported his remarks:
We may not be able to eliminate man’s capacity to do evil, so nations and the alliances that we form must possess the means to defend ourselves. But among those nations like my own that hold nuclear stockpiles, we must have the courage to escape the logic of fear and pursue a world without them….
And yet that is not enough. For we see around the world today how even the crudest rifles and barrel bombs can serve up violence on a terrible scale. We must change our mind-set about war itself. To prevent conflict through diplomacy and strive to end conflicts after they’ve begun.
This is a rehash of what he said in Prague in October, 2009:
So today, I state clearly and with conviction America's commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons……the United States will take concrete steps towards a world without nuclear weapons. To put an end to Cold War thinking, we will reduce the role of nuclear weapons in our national security strategy, and urge others to do the same.

If Japan had been able to develop a nuke, or had Germany, they would have used them on the Allies.
Japan and Germany started WWII. The Allies, lead by the United States, ended it.

Obama would have let 250,000 GIs get killed, 500,000 get wounded, and 10 million more Japanese get killed just so that he could feel morally superior. Obama said that people’s morality had to evolve as fast as technology evolved. In other words, he thinks that dropping the bombs was immoral. So he wouldn’t have done it. He would have let all of those needless deaths occur, so that he could feel superior to the GIs and everyone else. All of those lives get sacrificed for his ego.

I would like to say that he is an idiot, but he is not — he deliberately wants to make the US defenseless.

I forget whether Rumsfeld or someone else said that “weakness is provocative”... Whoever said it, he is absolutely right.
