Hiroshima and Nagasaki never happen if Pearl Harbor didn’t occur, but we can’t utter that in this PC world of today.
Notice how the press no longer mentions that there were TWO bombs dropped. The liberals like to call the US evil because we dropped the bomb, because if we only spent more time negotiating with the japs or fought a little longer conventionally we would have eventually won without the bomb.
However, the japanese refused to surrender after we nuked Hiroshima! We had to prove to them that we had at least one more bomb before they would finally submit! The second bombing happened three days later and they finally surrendered. The press seems to ignore or bury nagasaki. The first AP story I read about obama bowing down to them, included a statistic of 145000 deaths attributed to hiroshima but someone mentined this stat was a combined total of both bombings, yet nagasaki was not mentioned!
