The toll of accumulated stress, anxiety and worry may be the only real penalty these people ever pay. Looking over your shoulder day and night, waiting for the other shoe to drop, wondering what's next has got to be a hell of a way to live. On the other hand, one must have a modicum of conscience for that to kick in. They could just be impervious to worry in the way normal people understand the word.
That said, I agree with you that this Judicial Watch case is causing them fits. I think they feel confident they can control the Justice Department, though. So the FBI investigation, whatever it unearths, no matter how damning, is but a huge annoyance, but not anything they perceive as fatal. JMHO.
