It wasn't broken when McCain lost to Obama because he tried the same thing. It's broken now. It's broken now because Trump got more primary votes in history then you. It's broken now because you have sour grapes that you didn't run. It's broken now because the voters rejected the establishment. You lost in 2012, and this year, all of your friends lost to an outsider, leaving you to commiserate and cry with a group of them in Utah, licking your wounds, trying to find a way to stop Trump. Why is this man in the news so much lately? He is yesterday’s news.

He phoned in that third debate with Obama and lost the election because of it. Had he shown a bit, just a bit, of the fire and bluntness of Donald Trump in that last debate, he might just have motivated some more voters to the polls for him. Instead, he blew that chance and went easy on Obama.
