Yup. SF is a beautiful town with huge ‘omerta’ and silence about reality.
Thankfully there is a huge 50K persons Walk for Life in SF every January.
Things are getting really bad, and are likely to get worse.
Even more disconcerting, every crisis, whether caused by Muslim immigrants or illegals has served to strengthen the position of those seeking to transform our laws and freedoms to a formal socialized country.
These intentional immigration policies serve to destroy at least the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments, while subtly working to render mute the 9th and 10th Amendments of our U.S. Constitution.
HOWEVER, we can go back much further in time than Bush or Obama.
I copied and pasted what I posted to another freeper recently -
- I was in Moscow, at the U.S. Embassy in October of 1993, when by pressure from Bill Clinton, the INS was ordered to seriously realign quota’s to significantly reduce or limit visa’s from around the world, in an effort to significantly increase the volume of visa’s from the Middle East and several countries bordering the Middle East. Even known terror supporting nations were on the list.
Within weeks, there was federal funding advertised and made available to individuals from the same middle eastern region, for pretty much all possible living expenses and education. There were even briefings/classes conducted by our INS to individuals of middle eastern origin on how to sign up for the programs.
Even travel was an option for many.
It was crazy!
Of course, the bulletin went to every U.S. Embassy and Consulate around the world.
Even the more educated and “western friendly” individuals who had been in line were moved out of line in many instances, to make way for the higher volume of individuals which would come from the Middle East.
I also remember the “chatter” from officers at various levels within the embassy speaking of how this was going to result in the U.S. experiencing dangerous terror attacks, and serve to increase government control of our society at the expense of our freedom’s.
This was a significant pivot point in INS visa orientation.
At the time, almost no one thought it wise, and questioned the motivation for such policy.

Berieved, besieged Boston bombing survivors were outraged that Tsarnaev family's trip to the US for the trial was paid for with their tax dollars b/c the US govt mandates that struggling taxpayers foot the bill for these people to go back and forth between America and their "supposedly" hostile homelands on the taxpayers' dime.
Taxpayers footed the bills for the entire buck-sucking Tsarnaev's for a long, l-o-n-g time. When these immigrants get to the US they claim "asylum" b/c that triggers endless monthly Social Security checks ......that's just for starters.

The Boston Herald published the state's response: 'My office is working to fully comply with your request,' DTA interim commissioner Stacey Monahan wrote, saying they were only providing a summary 'given the great interest in this matter.'
Chechen immigrants--the bombers' parents----were eligible as legal, non-citizen residents who claimed "asylum" status and met the eligibility criteria for DTA, DTA interim commissioner Stacey Monahan said in a letter to David Linsky, Chairman of the Mass House Post Audit and Oversight Committee.
Multiple state agencies, on orders from Democrat Gov Patrick, refused to comment on the bomber brothers' welfare haul.

NTL REVIEW/BY DAVID HANSON----The Tsarnaev brothers offer us a teachable moment about what have become near-suicidal US immigration policies not being enforced---that are on the books:
(1) that foreign nationals must at least avoid crime,
(2) stay off public assistance,
(3) that the US is disinclined to grant "asylum" (triggers endless SS checks) to “fearful refugees” from war-torn Islamic regions,
(4) that force taxpayers to foot the bill for these types to go back and forth between America and their supposedly "hostile Muslim homelands" on the taxpayers' dime.
