Who gets to define what a terrorist is? The liberals would say any NRA member. Donald I know it sounds good on the surface but from a practical standpoint it will not work and the liberals would take full advantage of it.

I agree. My main problem with the terror watch list is well I hate lists. But the criteria for being put on the list is the big problem. There is no real criteria at this time and if there is its a secret. At a minimum if a terror watch list is going to be maintained the criteria must be specific and transparent. Its a slippery slope denying people their rights if they have not committed a crime.
Personally I think Donald Trump is being forced into making snap decisions in order to win the presidency. He may or may not still feel this way after he has time to think it over.
If Democrats are defining the term, then it will include anyone who owns a gun or wants to buy one (unless they are hired to guard Democrats, in which case it is ok).
