California will still have several nuclear reactors around the state including those located at or near the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Good for them. Now they need to stop importing power from all the other states - those states that produce electricity against their sensibilities.

Let them Reconquista with lamp oil.

By the time the enviro whackos and the fruits and nuts get through with California, we might as well give it back to the Mexicans...

It’ll be on par or worse than Mexico is now....

... that don’t work. And their big solar thermal plant is likely to be shut down because it didn’t work financially.

Don't worry. California will do just fine. By 2025 they will get all the energy they need by harnessing the gentle power of unicorns jumping through rainbows.

California’s not doing away with nuclear power....although we won’t be making any within the state, we’ll simply buy more from Arizona.

The hell we will; animal slavery HAS TO STOP! (Not to mention we probably will have given away all the water to make rainbows to bait fish.)

There you go - complain about carbon emissions and shut down a proven, reliable energy source that doesn’t have carbon emissions. Environmentalists are deranged.

LOL. Reminds me of when the issue of Arizona’s illegal alien law was a big issue. And liberals wanted to boycott Arizona much as liberals now want to boycott NC over their bathroom law.

Anyway, at the time, LA Voted to boycott Arizona. But then the ignorami on the LA city council learned after the fact that LA gets a big percentage of their electricity from Arizona. So they voted to rescind their boycott of Arizona.

Apparently liberals will boycott for a cause as long as it doesn’t cost them anything.

The site will still have casks of spent fuel rods stored there since those were all supposed to be disposed of at Yucca Mountain but that plan has been halted. Plus there are still tons of them in the spent fuel pools above the reactor in various stages of cooling until they can be transferred into the casks for long term storage.
