FAIRFAX, Va., June 21 (UPI) -- About 20 protesters were arrested Tuesday morning after an all-night vigil outside the National Rifle Association's Virginia headquarters.
The arrests came after an overnight demonstration attended by about 100 people outside the Fairfax, Va., headquarters of the NRA. The group said they were there in mourning for the Orlando, Fla., shooting victims.
Those arrested sprawled on the pavement, surrounded by chalk lines indicative of dead bodies, as a tribute to the 49 shooting deaths last week at an Orlando nightspot. Other protesters held signs and used red paint to indicate blood.
The action was sponsored by Code Pink, a group known for its anti-war stance, and a coalition of social justice groups.

The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting, stupid. It has to do with the right to bear arms and protect yourself and the ones you love. What do Sandy Hook, San Bernadino, Paris, Antwerp, and Orlando all have in common? The murderers were all stopped by Swat teams using AR-15 assault rifles. I often wonder how many lives could have been saved if "gun-free safe zones" didn't exist. Safe zones? Yeah, right...

The protest would have been much more effective if they had shot themselves to demonstrate the damage firearms can do.

The principle is easily understood, with reasonable mathematical certainty. The greater the ratio in favor of the law abiding citizens, between the armed law abiders, and the armed criminals, the safer the law abiding public. It is not difficult to understand, but the whole Leftist establishment gobbles the insanity of disarming the law abiders.
