Yes, this 4-4 vote shows that there are four liberals on the court, who will vote the liberal way, no matter what the facts of a case, no matter what the evidence indicates, no matter what laws are being evaluated.
Which also reinforces the point of what is at stake in this election. A president Hillary will appoint more doctrinaire liberals to the courts, including the Supreme Court. These liberal judges vote in lockstep, regardless of the facts or evidence in a case.
