According to Jack Cashill (IIRC), there is an NBC guy out there right now with a videotape in his possession of the shootdown. He kept a copy after getting a visit from the FBI and having the original seized (which the FBI thought was the only copy there).

I remember precisely an air national guard pilot. He was being interviewed on the ramp by the press. He had just landed after the TWA 800 flight fell from the sky. He had been a pilot in Vietnam. He said that he was familiar with ordnance from his days in Vietnam. He described that he had seen ordnance prior to TWA 800 falling out of the sky. I believe him. I never saw that clip again. I also noted that he was escorted away from the mike by superiors.

If I have a person to believe it is the pilot and not the FBI nor the NTSB.

Also, the nose of that aircraft was blown off probably from a center tank explosion cause by ordnance. The turbines would have immediately went to idle with no input from the now gone cockpit. There would have been a huge shift in the center of gravity to the rear. It would have immediately passed the critical angle of attack and stalled the wings. In addition I calculated the force (simple aerodynamics available in textbooks) of the wind against a flat surface the diameter of the fuseloge. Once the forward section was gone it was in effect a flat plate. The force would have been the equal of one of those turbines but forcing the nose radically up in an instant. That aircraft did not climb more than a few hundred feet at best and then dropped like a rock.
