The artist who drew “It’s a World, World, World, World, MAD” will be greatly missed.

Thank you for bringing a note of sanity into a crazed world. You made survival possible for lots of us.

The more I reflect on reading MAD during my youth - the more profound that magazine becomes...

I think MAD’s heyday was in the 1960s & 1970s. They were deeply perceptive about society’s follies. Back then they were considered liberal; nowadays, they would be roaring conservative.

I tried to get my 15 year old son interested in it. He doesn’t find it interesting. I still do.

Mad Magazine was a staple for me and an influence on my sometimes outrageous sense of humor growing up in Detroit.Who can forget Spy versus Spy and other satirical send-ups?

I recently bought a couple of copies of Mad from the sixties. Hilarious jokes on Beatniks and many many references to the then political arena, JFK before...

fascinating.

RIP Jack Davis. What an artist. What hilarity you provided me in my youth.

MAD Magazine is undoubtedly the genesis of my warped and sarcastic sense of humor.

I recall reading about the Mad gang finding out their sole subscriber in the Dominican Republic dropped his subscription.

Al Jaffe, Dave Berg, and the others flew to the DR to convince the guy to renew his subscription.

My 11 year old grandson showed me a copy of the great magazine he was reading. It was Mad Magazine. When I took it and started to fold the back cover, the look on his face was great. We were kids together as he showed me his favorite parts and we laughed together as equals.

THANK YOU MAD MAGAZINE!

I still remember one of the songs they satirized back in the 60's. (sung to the tune Moon River): Chopped Liver, onions on the side, my social life has died from you. My friends shun me, they out-run me, a sniff of my breath is slow death, sad, but true,...

Those types of songs were my favorites, too along with the pages that were folded to make a new image. Such creativity.
