Russia's intelligence service said on Saturday that the computer networks of 20 organizations, including state agencies and defense companies, have been infected with spyware in what it described as a targeted and coordinated attack.
The Federal Security Service, the FSB, said the malware and the way the networks were infected were similar to those used in previous cases of cyber espionage found in Russia and other countries. The agency did not say who it suspected of being behind the attacks.
"Information technology resources of government agencies, scientific and military institutions, defense industry companies and other entities involved in crucial infrastructure have been infected," the FSB said in a statement on its website.
The FSB's announcement follows reports of cyber attacks on the U.S. Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the fundraising committee for Democratic candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives.

That didn’t take long.
Must have been the DNC retaliating.
Press should be asking Hellary if she distances herself from this act.
So, does this mean that Hillary and the DNC’s hacked emails have been double hacked?
The Russians did it.
I don't know. Is it hacking when you hack in and the most top secret stuff you find is your own?
Is it hacking when you hack in and the most top secret stuff you find is your own?
= = =
Only if you read it.
Seems the Russians aren’t the only ones able to manipulate computers to do stuff.
Seems Hillary Clinton’s votes in the primaries were much bigger by 9%in states where paperless computers were used: Her manipultioan was similar to that used by Mitt Romney and McCain when they had used the same equipment:
Thus, pollsters were quite accurate in predicting the outcome, but only in states where fraud is hardest to hide. This situation is completely flipped in the states where the placed vote cannot be verified, as the vote only ever existed in the machines. [...]
Why would voters in larger precincts favor one candidate over the other by such a wide margin? We have been unable to come up with a reasonable psychological or sociological reason that would apply only to voters voting in the Democratic primary.
In conclusion, the data suggests that Clinton won in counties and in states where Clinton Foundation donors are responsible for the voting machines. Thus, we strongly believe that the risk posed by unverifiable electronic voting should not be taken. Our country should go back to verifiable voting. An honest election is more important than a day of labor.
Maybe the James Bond nemesis Specter?
Or worse, Dr. Evil.
Fer Chrissake, everybody does it, and has for a generation or two.
Listening to a hacker on CtoC, he said that the very best hacking sotware is Russian made. So all these hacks come from others not necessarily Russian.
It could be a case of hacking data and an hour later
you want some more...
