The proper headline for this story could be:
"Women go topless to protest inequality.""Men put on bikini tops to protest inequality."
"UFO religion leader promotes topless protests nationwide."
"Race car driver abducted by aliens launches topless movement as part of spiritual awakening"
Or, "Women can go topless whenever they want San Francisco, so who cares if they do it Sunday?"
Any of the above would be accurate.
As women take off their bras and blouses in Union Square Sunday, and men don string bikinis tops in solidarity, the San Francisco Go Topless day celebrants may not realize the strange bedfellows they're united with in promoting the freedom to have a bare chest.

I’m surprised at this. I thought public nudity was allowed in San Francisco??? I had heard that some subset of gay men like to go nude. There was a problem with this at gay events in SF, from what I heard. And then the nudity led to public displays of something else nobody wants to see..........
Stupid thing is in San Francisxo it is all ready not illegal for women to go topless.

I’m not for it but that’s not what most of the women who go topless in NYC every year look like. A lot of gorgeous girls who dont know they’re making themselves a cheap commodity by doing this.

Haha! We were in the south of France last summer at some too less beaches. I said the same to my husband - the ones who actually went topless should not have. Yikes!! B
