Opponents of the Iranian nuclear deal blasted the Obama administration on Thursday for misleading the American public, the Jewish Insider reported.
The condemnations came after reports emerged that Iran was secretly allowed to evade certain restrictions in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) so that it could begin receiving sanctions relief.
According to the report, released by the DC-based Institute for Science and International Security and revealed by Reuters, a P5+1 joint commission formed to oversee implementation of the accord gave Iran some exemptions so that its nuclear facilities would be in compliance with the deal by January 16, 2016, the deadline for the beginning of the lifting of sanctions.
As part of the concessions that allowed Iran to exceed uranium limits, Reuters reported, the joint commission agreed to exempt unknown quantities of 3.5 percent LEU contained in liquid, solid and sludge wastes stored at Iranian nuclear facilities. The agreement restricts Iran to stockpiling only 300 kg of 3.5 percent LEU.
The commission approved a second exemption for an unknown quantity of near 20 percent LEU in “lab contaminant” that was determined to be unrecoverable, as well as allow Iran to keep operating 19 radiation containment chambers larger than the deal set, according to the report.

Officials who have monitored the build-up say they've seen more than 1,000 Russian combatants - some of them from the same plainclothes Special Forces units who were sent to Crimea and Ukraine. Some of these Russian troops are logistical specialists and needed for security at the expanding Russian bases.

A prominent pro-Hezbollah newspaper in Lebanon reported Tuesday that Russia and the terrorist organization have formed an alliance and will fight together in Syria. "The parties to the alliance are the states of Russia, Iran, Syria, and Iraq, with Lebanon's Hezbollah as the fifth party,"
Al-Akhbar Editor in Chief Ibrahim al-Amin wrote. The pact would be called the "4+1 alliance", a pun based on the P5+1 that negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran. Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran based in Lebanon and Moscow has been working with Tehran to save Bashar al-Assad's regime, even sending men and weapons to Syria.

In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that there’s “something in the Iran deal” that “people don’t understand” saying if someone attacks Iran, “we have to come to their defense.”
“Does that include Israel?” Trump asked. “And most people say yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel.” ..."
Trump was most probably referring to language highlighted by the opponents of the deal. On page 142, the deal includes a clause that states, “Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Iran’s ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.”
Washington-based Center for Security Policy asserted that Annex III appears “to commit the United States and other world powers to the defense of Iran’s nuclear program.”

I remember reading it at the time and not buying it at all.
It was that vote and cloture for TPA that opened my eyes about Ted Cruz.
The closer I looked without the rose-colored glasses, the less I liked.
He’s a fraud who learned the right phrases and how to act conservative.
It was all about getting him to the White House.
The Constitution says he is not eligible.
The Kenyanesian Usurper got by with it and he wanted to as well.
The resolution for McCain stated his TWO citizen parents was what made him a natural born citizen even though he was born in Panama.
The claim for Obama was he was born here, even though he claimed a Kenyan national as father.
Neither were eligible, nor were Cruz, Jindal, Haley and Rubio.
Both parties wanted to get rid of the natural born citizen requirement.
Natural born citizen means both.
Born here of citizen parents.
The founders wanted no foreign influence.
No foreign birth
No foreign parent(s)
No foreign citizenship(s)
It certainly never meant Cubans born in Canada.
