With reference to Canada lacking in free speech... Commentary is not allowed on the CBC websites when stories appear about indigenous people. No commenting allowed. That being said, I don’t believe their is another country in the world where indigenous people are more highly regarded or referred to as often than as they are in Canada.
I’m personally really concerned about religious liberty in Canada.
Especially after hearing about this thing that they do called “kicking the convert”.

Trudeau admires China for the government’s ability to act quickly on things—no troublesome democracy.
What is perfect? Unless there are laws specifically set up to target specific groups of people to put them at a legal disadvantage, then there are no human rights issues. A groups correlation with being poor does not imply intentional nor unintentional rights abuses where culture can explain the differences. Nobody forces 50% of certain groups to drop out of school. Groups talk of oppression and marinalization, how they get the shaft because of bad neighborhoods, and bad schools and food deserts, and a myriad of other things that their neighborhoods don’t “get” as if someone other than the community is supposed to swoop in and give them these things rather than the community providing them themselves. Nice neighborhoods are not nice because some magic fairie comes and makes the schools nice and cleans garbage and grafitti and mows the lawns. A neighborhood is the sum of its citizens.
Just like Obama, apologizing for his own Country’s behavior, to its detriment.
Conservative Americans are the moral equals of ISIS because the Crusades. Eight centuries ago, our ancestors fought back against barbaric mass murderers invading the West. Today, ISIS rapes and murders the innocent. To a liberal, those are equivalent acts of “violence”, and all violence is equally bad.
