LOL! Once you reduce the size of the seating area by 30% or more, it tends to compress the seating available. When hildabama was in Reno a week or so ago, the hall they used was a smallish venue at the local community college. Looked packed but in reality, less than 400 for the smartest women in the galaxy.
Full as a thimble.
They never showed more than the first 12 rows of that room. There are shots taken from the front of the room looking out, that show the room had easily 50 rows of seats. It was reported elsewhere that they closed off about 2/3 of the seats to make sure the seats looked filled.
Once they pulled the walls in on the sides, and particularly pulling the wall from the back about 1/2 to 2/3 forward, they could fill up the few hundred who came.
But that hall is capable of holding thousands...and there were not anything like that number there.
Careful camera composition. If you notice, they're only showing the people who are packed into the front 1/3 of the seating area. They do not show the full hall, which is quite deep and wide.

At first, the entire hall was open. Then, they closed the partition doors to the back-half of the hall to force everyone into the front. Even then, many of the seats were empty during her speech.
Not gonna sit through her speech to catch whatever picture you want me to see
