It’s not homosexual activity alone that’s called SODOMy. Not just anal pebetration with the penis, but any sexual “act against nature” -— oral, anal, Onanism, with male, female, or animal -— was historically, legally classified as SODOMy.
In fact, there wasn’t a single Christian church that approved even contraception until the Anglicans “changed the rules” and OK’d sterile sex per se at their Lambeth Conference in 1930.
So the while concept of natural, procreative sex got chucked BY THE CHURCHES (most of them) less than 100 years ago.

Jude isn't the only place in the NT: Romans 1 and Revelation as well. But Jude unloads on this filthy dreamer who has spiritually given himself over to Sodom and Egypt.
"Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward...these are spots in your feasts of charity when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about by winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots." On the issue of whether the Bible defends slavery, the slavery the Bible talks about is where people sold themselves, or were sold, to pay some debt they owed.
It had nothing to do with the slave trade. On the contrary, 1 Timothy 1:10 which reads "for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine" in the NIV, clearly condemns the slave trade as happened in the US.
