This is why businesses give contribution to Democrats and support Democrat candidates.

Government prosecution and lawsuits are expensive and difficult to fight even if they are completely bogus.

I wish I was the judge receiving this.

Sanctions would not be mild.

At some levels, our government appears to have become a fascist enterprise.

Using all available means and tools of the bureaucracy, society, business, economics, culture - for the promotion of an ideology

Was there an underlying complaint from a disappointed applicant, or is this just an Obama search and destroy mission?

I wouldn't take any underlying complaint at face value, but it would be important to know if one exists at all.

It’s easy to delay something like this until President Trump sees to it the suit is dropped.

Will they also be suing all the Ivy League colleges that discriminate against Asia student applications?

I’ve noticed that in Obama’s vocabulary, Asians mean Middle Easterners. Which is it?

The government does not even bother to claim that Palantir deliberately excluded Asians. Rather, it argues that since only 44% of Palantir’s software engineers are Asian, but 85% of the applicant pool was Asian, Palantir must, statistically, have discriminated against Asians.

Yet when the pool is 85% white, all hell breaks loose if the hiring approaches 44% white.

This should be a campaign ad.

Democrats politicize the power of the government.

Democrats use the Justice Department and the FBI to enforce laws selectively.

Democrats use the IRS to target their enemies.

Democrats use the military for social experiments.

Democrats use tax dollars to fund their campaigns and buy and extort votes.

Democrats use their public service jobs to enrich themselves.

To be honest if the government is saying this company is discriminates again Asians then they should sue themselves for the U.S. Government discriminates against Asians for they have the highest SAT scores but do not get admitted to college at times because of SAT curves by others, just an opinion.

Corrupt government to the core. For all the world to see. They’re just trying to muddy the waters, so if Trump wins and nominates this guy for SCOTUS, they MIGHT have something to throw at his confirmation hearing.

However, the Feds usually don’t too well against folks that have money. Which is why you very rarely see them go after folks with money.

Add to that, that Thiel is gay and he stands a chance to crush the Dept of Labor.

This is very bad and very foolish. Chinese researches should be kept at Universities, if they are hired in companies they can not resist the pressure from their home country.
