El Cajon, California (CNN)Activists dismayed by the police killing of an unarmed, possibly mentally ill black man in El Cajon, California, demanded Wednesday that authorities release video of the shooting. They also want a federal probe into the man's death. Police have not released the man's name.
As of Wednesday afternoon, police had released little information about the incident, aside from a still photograph showing the African-American man, in what authorities describe as a "shooting stance," facing off with two officers in a parking lot.

If that’s the stance he takes when facing police...then he’s a candidate for a posthumous Darwin Award.
Don't need a bus. There is trolley service now. It's walking distance to the scene. While there isn't a huge black population in the area, there are a fair number of locals.
The city is about 5.5% black (alone)
Looks like one of the officers is black as well...closest to the perp, probably the one who shot the guy!

Going down Main St in El Cajon, you are immediately struck by the number of businesses labeled in Arabic. Lots of Chaldean Christian businesses in the area. A much smaller number of muslims. The muslims hang out closer to the mosque near Balboa Ave and I-805. Most shop at the Target near Balboa and Genessee. I lived in the Clairemont area from June 2011 to Sept 2014.
By definition the Darwin award must be posthumus. There are no living recipients.

The Darwin Award is given to those who remove themselves from the gene pool. Usually this would require death, but if one were to successfully remove their ability to procreate by, say, urinating on a high tension power line, one could accept the award in person.
