You are not as far off as you suppose. Back when I got to choose textbooks for my Jr High American history classes, my first run-through was to look at the illustrations accompanying the Civil War and World War I & II. In one, more space was devoted to women spies in the Civil War than Grant and Lee combined. Another text made it seem that the majority of WWI American soldiers were black. And of course virtually all of the ‘homefront’ coverage of WWII is devoted to women in the factories and ferrying aircraft, the Japanese internment, and the injustice of the zoot suit riots. As time has passed it has gotten progressively worse.

‘’Those who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it’

At this point, it would seem that we are repeating the history of the Socialist countries of Europe and Eastern Europe......at the hands of those who worship the Socialist model of governing. I wish average citizens who wanted Socialism here, had had to live in a Socialist country for a year. The only ones who are happy in Socialist countries are those at the top.....they don’t have to endure the actual pain of working hard to support ten other people that they don’t even know.
