International governments have made a power play against Donald Trump by ratifying an international climate deal earlier than expected, effectively preventing him from “canceling” the deal as he has promised to do.

The European Union’s Tuesday decision to join the Paris climate deal will push the deal over the threshold for ratification; it will formally take effect in 30 days.

That means Trump, should he be elected president in November, could not “cancel” or renegotiate the terms of the agreement. President Obama committed the United States to reduce its emissions by 26 percent to 28 percent by 2025 as part of the deal. The agreement is nonbinding, so Trump would be free to ignore it if he wins the White House.

Some say Trump’s rhetoric about the deal helped speed up ratification..............

President Trump can cancel - or simply neutralise by non-enforcement - any treaty or deal he wants.

Load of crap. Was not ratified by Senate ...so... It’s not a treaty.

Idiots.

Do they think writing an article will make it true?

Do they think writing an article will make it true?

Sort of. They think it's true, so they can write the article.

"What is truth?" - the content of the elites' minds.

Poppycock. The President doesn’t ratify treaties, the Senate does.

They’re trying to put polka dots on an umbrella, they’re using administrative maneuvers that apply to the U.N only, so yes. They can make it so that Trump can’t change the deal the U.N has made among other nations, but that’s no story.

It doesn’t mean Trump has to adhere to it.

They can ponder all the sophomoric power plays they want, over at the UN. I suspect they will, however, have a lot less time for this foolishness as they will soon be looking for a NEW HOME. Without US support, financial and otherwise, the UN is just a Banana Republic tin pot dictator’s club. Good riddance!

DJT: remember the wonderful words of our UN Ambassador, Charles Lichenstein, best remembered for comments he made following the Soviet shootdown of Korean Air Lines Flight 007, after which the states of New York and New Jersey denied Soviet Aircraft permission to land, in violation of the United Nations Charter that requires the host nation to allow all member countries access to the UN.
The United States [Federal Government], which opposed the [New York and New Jersey] legislation, offered the Soviet Union landing rights at a military base so its foreign minister, Andrei A. Gromyko, could fly in for the General Assembly meeting. But the Soviets refused. When the United Nations committee met to review the situation, the Soviet delegate, Igor I. Yakovlev, said the ban on landing "raises the question of whether the United Nations should be in the United States." A furious Mr. Lichenstein replied that if member states felt "they are not being treated with the hostly consideration that is their due," they should consider "removing themselves and this organization from the soil of the United States. We will put no impediment in your way," he continued, "The members of the U.S. mission to the United Nations will be down at the dockside waving you a fond farewell as you sail off into the sunset."
Due to opposition to these remarks by the State Department, Lichenstein offered his resignation. It was not accepted. President Reagan instead responded with this statement that endorsed Lichenstein's controversial remarks:
Maybe all those delegates should have six months in Moscow and then six months in New York, and it would give them an opportunity to see two ways of life. I think the gentleman [Charles Lichenstein] who spoke the other day had the hearty approval of most people in America in his suggestion that we weren’t asking anyone to leave, but if they chose to leave, good-bye.

The Constitution requires that the Senate is the only body that binds the United States to a treaty. Other than that, forget it.

Man, I pray to God this guy wins or we are fooked. It does not look good, look at this map........

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_elections_electoral_college_map.html

He has GOT to take command and expose Hillary like an atomic bomb next Sunday or it is all over. There are so many low infos out there who have no idea the kind of woman Hillary is, the stuff that went on with the Clintons in the White house. If Trump lets the moderators and Hillary walk all over him again then put a fork in him, he is done. Hillary will be next POTUS and hell on earth will truly begin.
