NYT/CNBC’s John Harwood Advises Clinton Campaign, Gloats About Provoking Trump At Debate

The latest batch of emails from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta show New York Times reporter and CNBC anchor John Harwood giving the Clinton campaign tips about other candidates and bragging about feeling vindicated by provoking Donald Trump as a debate moderator.

In a December 2015 email to Podesta, Harwood bragged about his much-criticized debate performance in which he asked Trump “Let’s be honest, is this a comic book version of a presidential campaign?”

Harwood titled the email “I imagine…” and continued the sentence in the body of the email, writing, “…that Obama feels some (sad) vindication at this demonstration of his years-long point about the opposition party veering off the rails.”

For three decades, I have developed an increasing list of companies I boycott and individuals I shun, as I cut off more and more contact with the growing and malignant left wing in America. That changes on November 8 to an opt in list rather than an opt out list. Starting on Election Day, I will be associating with and conducting business only with decent individuals. Anyone who votes Hillary will be permanently cut out of my social and economic life. I will be distant but civil with family. Otherwise, no exceptions.

I suggest building assets outside the US financial system.

By all means, stay within the law and report all taxable income and pay all applicable taxes. One should be careful not to engage in transactions that might be construed as structured to evade transaction reporting requirements. If you plan to move more than $10K, just go ahead and do it, and answer whatever questions the bank has, rather than breaking it into smaller transactions.

I suggest building assets outside the US financial system. . . . careful not to engage in transactions that might be construed as structured to evade transaction reporting requirements. As for financial assets, I am very well aware of the laws against "structuring", and I am aware that they are used as a weapon by the growing thuggish side of Barack Hussein's federal government. I have never had a collection of transactions that could be misinterpreted as structuring, nor will I ever come anywhere near that line. A sufficient portion of my assets is in a blend of the best possible forms: silver, gold, lead, brass, and blued steel. [Note: the lead, brass, and steel are to defend against potential criminal activity that poses an immediate danger, and for lawful hunting and sport shooting, not for any other purpose.]

I was not referring to you in any way.

I meant that I feared retaliation by the Dems and the deep state against conservatives.

This may be an unpopular position, even for here, but perhaps media organizations should be treated as political organizations if their is an excessive amount of coordination between their employees (journalists included) and members of a political campaign. The key word here is coordination, which implies they are working together to promote a candidate.
